That was just captivating from beginning to end. Your story, Kimberly is open mouth amazing and your grace and strength in navigating through everything is just astonishing. You and I have crossed paths a few times (for which I'm very grateful) and I've always found you to be so kind and generous and giving of your thoughts and time. I guess I just want to say that considering your health challenges, and all the opportunities you've been given to fall to the wayside and feel bitter, or aggrieved or whatever else, I'm just in awe of your style! I'm not one for role models, but if I was you'd be up there! Thank you.

And thanks Mary for that fascinating interview and for delving into everything from family stories to creativity to the human condition. I really enjoyed it.

Kimberly: It is magical the way you've assembled these experiences to have so much combined heft and meaning. You've made your life a poem. Thank you, Mary, for this wonderful interview. Congratulations, Kimberly, on the book publication of Unfixed! Both of you are treasures. (And oddly, this relates to what I'm writing for Inner Life next. I'll be referring back to it next week.)
